I see clients across the lifespan - children, adolescents, and adults. I am particularly drawn to clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship issues, or life transitions. My ideal client is someone who is open to building a trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationship. They do not need to have everything figured out—just a willingness to show up authentically and take small steps toward growth. Clients can expect us to work together to gain insight into current patterns and presenting problems, develop self-compassion, and learn tangible tools and strategies to connect insight to action.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and individual to each client to fit their needs and goals. I am strengths-based, trauma focused, and draw from several counseling theories and techniques, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy.
I believe that everybody can overcome challenges to cultivate a joyful, authentic life. My practice is rooted in the idea that we are all doing our very best with the tools and knowledge that we possess, and with care and support we can grow into even better versions of ourselves. I would be honored to partner with you on your journey.
