Change often begins in small, almost imperceptible shifts. Just as a garden thrives through care, patience, and the right conditions, our inner lives can flourish when we feel safe, seen, and supported. In therapy, we tend to these inner landscapes—recognizing old patterns, nurturing new possibilities, and making space for what is ready to grow.
I approach therapy as a collaborative and creative process, grounded in curiosity, empathy, and a deep respect for each person’s unique life story. I work from a person-centered perspective, drawing on expressive arts therapy, somatic and psychodynamic approaches to support healing and growth.
My work is rooted in the understanding that creativity is an essential human need, not limited to the arts, but expressed in how we adapt, imagine, and relate to ourselves and others. Through movement, visual art, writing, or sound, clients can access insights and emotions that words alone may not reach.
The therapeutic relationship itself can be a source of healing, offering new experiences of connection that may repair or reimagine early wounds. We explore how past experiences shape present patterns—while also cultivating the skills and self-trust to meet life’s challenges in new ways.
I am a resident clinician completing my graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy. I work with children, adolescents, and adults in-person, and I welcome clients of all backgrounds and lived experiences. I offer an inclusive, trauma-informed space for those navigating anxiety, depression, grief, impulse and attention regulation disorders, LGBTQIA+ issues, neurodiversity, mood disorders, personality disorders, relationship issues, trauma and PTSD; as well as exploring life transitions, identity development, self-esteem and spirituality.
My clinical roots began with infants and toddlers, where I supported early emotional and sensory development through attuned, nonverbal connection. This continues to inform my approach with clients across the lifespan, with deep respect for the nervous system, preverbal memory, and the power of relationship in growth and healing.
Ultimately, my aim is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can reconnect with your own wisdom and capacity for transformation. Just like tending a garden, there will be seasons of planting, growth, and rest—and together, we can nurture the conditions for your next chapter to take root.
