I am driven by a passion to meet my clients where they are. The work to manage the complexities of daily life can sometimes feel insurmountable, and my clients deserve an empathetic ear and to feel supported in their journey. I honor the courage it takes to make that first call and respect the time we share in session.
Whether going through a period of generalized anxiety, feeling disconnected, or navigating the difficulties of a critical relationship, my ideal client has struggled and is motivated: to inquire, to face fears, question assumptions, to explore dreams and imagine possibility. They are engaged, seeking guidance and a safe space as they take courage, experiment, and practice the coping strategies we discuss. In parallel, inside and outside session, they are doing the difficult inner work that moves them toward insight. Despite setbacks, in their quest for healing, their efforts are rewarded as they press forward, finding the calm of a regulated nervous system, the joy of an improved relationship, or of finally feeling connected.
Working within a strengths-based, psychodynamic framework, my work seeks to validate and acknowledge my client’s life experiences. Guided by an anti-oppression and social justice lens, my approach is integrated, holistic, and empathy-led. I honor the mind-body-spirit connection and draw from narrative, somatic, and trauma-informed therapies.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety and depression, surviving a difficult or abusive relationship, and just trying to get through the day, I would be honored to work with you.
